Regional Museum in Wiślica

The so-called "House of Dlugosz", located in Wiślica, it medieval building in Gothic style. It is named after the founder of Jan Dlugosz, who built it in 1460. It was intended as living rooms for 12 canons and vicars 12. To this day, live in the priest's work in the parish. Part of the building is made available to tourists. It belongs to the hallway with preserved Gothic portals, covered beamed ceiling basement room, several rooms with original ceilings and a room used by the Museum Regional. In this hall are original fifteenth-century wall paintings and the fifteenth-century larch ceiling beamed with beautifully preserved baked polychrome. The building also houses an exhibition of archaeological finds.
